Belkis Lopez, CRNP

Belkis was born in the Dominican Republic and grew up in Bayonne, NJ, where she developed a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and community connections. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she uses her bilingual skills to connect with patients and families from all walks of life.

She earned her undergraduate degree in Nursing from Bloomfield College in Bloomfield, NJ, before moving to Anne Arundel County to launch her nursing career. Over the years, she gained extensive experience working in the medical-surgical and general surgical units at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center and Anne Arundel Medical Center.

Driven by a passion for providing comprehensive care. Belkis returned to school and earned her Master’s Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Chamberlain University.

Outside of her professional life, Belkis treasures time with her two boys, finds joy in her church community, and stays active through weightlifting. She also has a soft spot for her German Shepherds and enjoys trying new foods, baking, and tending to her rare plant collection.
