Dr. Steven Rock is a Buffalo, New York Native who has enjoyed serving his patients and the community with AAUrology since 2002.
Dr. Rock earned his undergraduate degrees in Environmental Science and Psychology at St. Lawrence University with Phi Beta Kappa and Omicron Delta Kappa honors. After exploring careers in education and Environmental management, he returned to medical school, attending University of Buffalo School of Biomedical Sciences. He then completed two years of general surgery and four years of Urology residency at the University of Maryland Medical System, including both adult and pediatric urology training at Johns Hopkins Brady Urological Institute. Dr. Rock worked for a year in the Port St. Lucie/Vero Beach/Stuart area of Florida followed by 4 years in Calvert and St. Mary’s County, Southern Maryland before joining AAUrology. He is the Associate Chief of Urology at Anne Arundel Medical Center.
Dr. Rock is a general Urologist with particular interest in the management of stone disease, urologic Oncology (including bladder, prostate and testicular cancers), BPH and voiding dysfunction. He enjoys applying an individualized approach to managing his patients’ often complex problems.
Dr. Rock is an avid photographer, naturalist and travel enthusiast. In his free time, you might spot him behind the camera around the Annapolis area.
